Chocolate Banana Walnut Drops

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup solid vegetable shortening
1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups mashed banana
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 cup M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl with electric mixer, cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and banana; blending well. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; blend into creamed mixture. Blend in oats and nuts and M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies. Drop by tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes just until set. Do not over bake. Cool 1 minute before removing to wire rack; cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.
