Chocolate Crackle Tops

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies
Additional granulated sugar

Directions

Combine flour and baking powder; set aside. In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat combine 2 cups sugar, butter and chocolate, stirring until butter and chocolate are melted; remove from the heat. Gradually stir in the eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Chill mixture for 1 hour. Stir in M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies. Chill mixture an additional hour.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with foil. With sugar-dusted hands, roll dough into 1-inch balls; roll into additional granulated sugar. Place cookies 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool completely on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
