M&M'S® MINIS® Chocolate Cookies with Icing

Ingredients

1 cup M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies
1 1/4 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Remove red and green M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies and set aside for decoration. Preheat oven to 350°F. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in remaining M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Drop teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff during baking, flatten upon cooling.) Cool on cookie sheets, about 1 minute; move to wire rack to cool completely.

Icing:
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4-6 teaspoons milk

Prepare frosting by beating butter with powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla and enough milk for a spreading consistency; frost cookies.

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons milk
4 teaspoons cocoa powder
Prepare Chocolate Glaze by blending powdered sugar with cocoa powder, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Place in plastic sandwich bag. Snip off one corner of bag (no more than 1/8 inch). Holding top of bag, drizzle glaze onto cookies; decorate with red and green MINIS®.
