Ingredients
  • 110g cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 70g butter, melted
  • 60ml maple syrup
  • 58g packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 90g M&M’S Crispy, divided
  • 26g chopped pretzels
  • 24g marshmallow bits
  • 30ml chocolate sauce

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Makes: 12 servings

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease 8-inch square pan and line bottom with parchment paper; set aside. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. Stir together melted butter, maple syrup and brown sugar until well combined. Beat in egg and vanilla until incorporated. Stir in flour mixture until just combined. Fold in 60g M&M’S Crispy.
  3. Scrape batter into prepared baking pan; smooth top. Sprinkle with pretzels.
  4. Bake for 23 to 25 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out with just a few moist crumbs clinging to it.
  5. Drizzle with chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with marshmallow bits, remaining M&M’S. Cool completely on wire rack.
  6. Cut into squares to serve.

Tip:

  • Substitute chocolate sauce with caramel sauce if desired.
