M&M'S Air Fryer Heart-Shaped Donuts
Air-fried instead of deep-fried, these M&M’s® donuts are prepared with store-bought biscuit dough cut using heart-shaped cookie cutters for a quick and easy treat that’s perfect for sharing with the ones you love.

Recipe Ingredients:
Donuts:
- 1 tube (8-count) flaky biscuit dough
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Filling:
- 1/2 cup M&M’s® Milk Chocolate Cupid’s Mix, divided
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp heavy or whipping (35%) cream
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp liquid honey
Glaze:
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ (icing) sugar
- Pink food coloring gel, as needed
Directions:
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes (+ 45 minutes standing time)
- Donuts: On lightly floured work surface, roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Using a 2 1/2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out 12 hearts (rerolling scraps as necessary and reserving any remaining dough for another use).
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- In three batches, arrange donuts in air-fryer basket (do not overfill). Drizzle each batch with 1 tsp oil. Air-fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown all over and cooked through. Let cool completely.
- Filling: Finely chop 2 tbsp M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Cupid’s Mix.
- In small heatproof bowl set over small saucepan of barely simmering water, stir together dark chocolate chips, cream, butter and honey until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in chopped M&M’S®. Let stand for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooled to room temperature. Transfer to piping bag fitted with small round tip. Poke a slit into each donut and pipe about 1 tsp of filling into center of each.
- Glaze: In another small heatproof bowl set over small saucepan of barely simmering water, stir together white chocolate chips, butter and milk until melted and smooth. Whisk in confectioners’ sugar until blended. Remove from heat. Add pink food coloring gel as desired.
- S’mores: Spread 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff on flat side of 12 heart cookies and top with a few M&M’S. Cap each with a remaining cookie.
- Dip tops of donuts in glaze, letting excess drip back into bowl. Transfer to parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Garnish with remaining M&M’S®. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes or until glaze has set.
Tips:
- If desired, cut biscuit dough scraps into 1-inch pieces and air-fry, in batches, with the donuts. Dip in melted dark chocolate chips and garnish with chopped M&M’S®. Freeze for a sweet bite to enjoy with coffee or tea.
