Cupid’s M&M Valentine’s Day Donuts

Recipe Ingredients:
Donuts:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup 2% milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup M&M’S Cupid’s Mix
Glaze:
- 4 oz white chocolate chips
- Red or pink food coloring gel
- 1/4 cup M&M’s Cupid’s Mix
Directions:
Prep Time: 35 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes (+ 1 hour standing time)
- Donuts: Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease and flour 12-cavity donut pan.
- In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until combined. In separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk and vanilla. Whisk in melted butter; stir into batter just until blended.
- Spoon 2 tbsp batter into each prepared donut mold; sprinkle M&M’S Cupid Mix over top. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until tester inserted in center of donut comes out clean. Transfer to rack; let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Reinforce donut holes with handle of wooden spoon, if necessary. Let cool completely.
- Glaze: Meanwhile, add white chocolate chips to microwave-safe bowl; microwave on medium power for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and melted.
- Divide white chocolate among 3 bowls; tint each bowl with red or pink food coloring to desired shades.
- Dip 4 donuts into each shade of glaze, letting excess drip back into bowl. Garnish with M&M’S Cupid’s Mix. Let stand until glaze sets.
Tips:
- If you don’t have a donut pan, bake batter in mini muffin cups.
