M&M’S No-Bake Cereal Oat Bars
These easy-to-make, no-bake M&M’S peanut butter and cereal bars make a colorful, tasty treat for any special occasion.

Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups toasted O’s oat cereal
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/3 cup peanut butter (any kind)
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup M&M’S Peanut Milk Chocolate
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt
Directions:
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes (+ 1 hour 15 minutes standing time)
- Line 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper so it overhangs the edges.
- In large bowl, toss together oat cereal and rolled oats.
- In small saucepan set over medium heat, add peanut butter, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Cook, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes or until sugar has dissolved and mixture is smooth.
- Pour peanut butter mixture over oats mixture and stir to combine. Let cool slightly before stirring in M&M’S Peanut Milk Chocolate (to avoid melting away colors). Press oats mixture firmly into prepared pan.
- In small microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips. Microwave on HIGH for 30 to 60 seconds or until smooth and melted.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over oats mixture. Sprinkle with sea salt. Freeze for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until bars and chocolate are both firm and set.
- Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Remove from pan and cut into 12 bars.
Tip:
- Substitute dark chocolate with milk chocolate or white chocolate if preferred.
