M&M’S Valentine’s Day S’more

With simple homemade graham cracker cookies, these M&M’S s’mores are a fun treat for Valentine’s Day sharing.

Recipe Ingredients:
  • Graham Cookie Hearts:
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup M&M'S Red, Pink & White Milk Chocolate, finely choppe

S’mores:

  • 3/4 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/3 cup M&M'S Red, Pink & White Milk Chocolate, divided
  • 1/3 cup pink candy melts, melted
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips, melted
Directions:

Prep Time: 35 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 35 minutes (+ 1 hour standing time)

  1. Graham Cracker Cookie Hearts: In medium bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  2. In large bowl, using electric mixer, beat together butter, brown sugar and honey until light and fluffy. Beat in egg until incorporated. Beat in vanilla. On low speed, beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in chopped M&M'S Red, Pink & White Milk Chocolate.
  3. Shape dough into 2 disks and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill dough for at least 1 hour before rolling.
  4. Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  5. Working with 1 portion of dough at a time, on lightly floured work surface, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using 2 1/2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out 24 hearts, rerolling scraps as needed. Transfer to parchment paper–lined baking sheet, spacing at least 2 inches apart. Reserve any remaining dough for another use.
  6. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and tops are set. Let cool completely on wire rack.
  7. S’mores: Spread 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff on flat side of 12 heart cookies and top with a few M&M’S. Cap each with a remaining cookie.
  8. Drizzle tops of each cookie with melted pink candy melts and melted white chocolate. Garnish with remaining M&M’S. Let stand until chocolate is completely set.


Tips:

  • Alternatively, dip cookie hearts partially in melted dark chocolate and garnish with M&M’S Red, Pink & White Milk Chocolate.
